Castor Oil FU New.Fa.Dem. 1000ml

Castor oil compliant with the Official Pharmacopoeia (Farmacopea Ufficiale), in a 1000 ml bottle. A very dense vegetable oil, suitable for cosmetic and food use, especially appreciated in the care of hair and eyelashes.

Features

• It has a good affinity with keratin, the main constituent of body hair, hair and nails: for this reason it is widely used in natural cosmetics as a nourishing agent
• On damaged, dry hair it has a nourishing, strengthening and shine-enhancing action and helps rebalance oil along the hair shaft and at the ends
• On eyelashes it gives volume and strength
• On the skin it leaves a film that markedly limits water loss through evaporation
• Contains ricinoleic acid

How to use

• Hair: too dense to be used neat, it is best diluted with sweet almond or linseed oil, in a ratio of two parts of these oils to one part castor oil. Apply as a pre-shampoo treatment, leaving it on for 10 minutes to an hour.
• Eyelashes: apply a small amount to a cotton pad and pass it over the lashes, after removing make-up.
• As a laxative: adults 15-60 ml a day, children 5-15 ml a day.

Warnings

For internal use, take away from meals. Do not exceed the indicated doses; in case of pregnancy, breastfeeding or ongoing treatment, consult your doctor.
