Description

Allevyn Heel is a sterile polyurethane foam dressing designed for an area that is hard to bandage, such as the heel. Its cupped shape lets the dressing sit well even without an adhesive part and follow the movements of the ankle without creasing.

  • Highly absorbent hydrocellular structure, suitable for exuding wounds
  • Surface that does not stick to the wound, for less uncomfortable changes
  • Anatomical shape designed for the heel and curved surfaces
  • Sterile dressing, ready to use

Directions: after cleansing the wound and disinfecting as directed by a healthcare professional, first place one end of the dressing on intact skin, align the central part with the area to be protected and then smooth out the other end. If more stability is needed, it can be secured with a bandage or tubular net. Change frequency should be decided according to the amount of exudate and the instructions of healthcare staff.
