Epistas Nasal Ointment 30 g

Thanks to the combination of pectin and gelatine, it stops bleeding caused by epistaxis and is a useful aid in the healing of external wounds and in nourishing the tissues of the dermis.
Pectin is in fact an excellent re-epithelialising agent. The combined action of gelatine and pectin, substances long used in the treatment of bleeding, helps stop haemorrhage while respecting the physiology of the nasal mucosa.
The special formulation of Epistas also reduces drying of the nasal mucosa during epistaxis, and is a useful aid in cases of pressure sores and external wounds, thanks to its ability to be absorbed quickly, heal, re-epithelialise and leave the wound moist.

Directions for use
Epistaxis: place a dose of ointment in the nostrils, using gauze if needed, and press the nose from the outside with your fingers.
External wounds: apply a sufficient amount of ointment to the wound.

Warnings
Avoid use in cases of individual hypersensitivity to the components.
Do not clean the tube with water. Use tissues or paper; if soiled with blood, clean with alcohol.
Do not swallow.
Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse the eyes with plenty of water.
Keep out of the reach of children.
The presence of small granules in the ointment is normal. They also contribute to the anti-bleeding action.

Storage
Close the tube after use.
Store at room temperature.
Do not expose to heat sources.
Do not dispose of the container in the environment.
