elmex Junior toothpaste for children aged 6 to 12, specially designed for their specific needs during the change of teeth. The new permanent teeth, which start to come through at around six years of age, are particularly exposed to decay as the tooth enamel is initially still porous and relatively soft. A higher concentration of fluoride promotes the hardening of the teeth, thus increasing their resistance to acid attacks and the resulting risk of decay. Thanks to the specific characteristics of the amine fluorides contained in the toothpaste, protection against decay is ensured even for several hours after brushing. The mild flavour encourages children to move from kids' toothpaste, with a lower fluoride content, to a product with a fluoride concentration suited to their age.
