Food supplement designed to support the body's natural defences and to improve metabolism in general, in particular that of rapidly growing cells.
Suitable as a support in all cases where the immune defences need a boost: during flu and colds, during infectious illnesses and in convalescence. Useful in deficiency states, loss of appetite, delayed growth in children and during treatment with aciclovir.
       Lactoferrin
Physiologically, lactoferrin is a natural protein whose role is to remove free iron from the tissues. It is present in all secretions exposed to the action of bacteria: not only in milk but also in tears, nasal exudate, saliva, bronchial secretions, gastrointestinal juices and other bodily secretions. Lactoferrin is synthesised in particular white blood cells, which release it precisely at sites where there is an infectious process or increased oxidative processes. In the intestine, lactoferrin is broken down into peptide fragments, lactoferricins, which have been shown to have microbicidal activity. They are in fact able to bind to the membrane phospholipids of bacteria, fungi and protozoa, causing irreversible structural damage. In many studies lactoferricins have also been shown to be active against viruses in general and in particular against rotaviruses and adenoviruses. The antiviral effect of lactoferricin is to prevent fusion between the host cell and the virus. It has also been shown that the body uses lactoferrin to support the immune response precisely at the most critical times of life, such as in full-term and premature newborns.
       Zinc
Zinc, an essential nutrient, is a constituent of many enzyme systems and is present in all tissues. Zinc deficiency can involve changes in rapidly growing tissues, such as those of the immune system, the skin and the intestinal mucosa.
       B vitamins
Rubrojunior is completed by all the B vitamins, including vitamin B12 and folic acid. Thanks to their coenzyme function, all these factors occupy metabolic positions of great importance for a correct cellular balance.

Ingredients
Lactoferrin; zinc; vitamin B complex; folic acid; vitamin B12.

How to use
1 vial a day, with or without food.
Turn the white cap clockwise as far as it will go, so that the red device underneath pierces the reservoir and the powder falls into the vial. Do not unscrew yet; shake well until the powder has completely dissolved. Unscrew the white cap and take the product as it is or diluted in water or other drinks.

Warnings
The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in unopened packaging.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of the reach of children under three years of age.

Storage
Store at room temperature (15°-30° C); avoid exposure to localised heat sources and sunlight and contact with water.
