Food supplement useful for rebalancing intestinal disorders manifesting with widespread and recurrent abdominal pain, altered bowel habits, flatulence, bloating, changes in stool consistency, predominant constipation or diarrhoea, a feeling of incomplete evacuation, and mucus in the stools.

L-tryptophan
Essential amino acid, natural precursor of serotonin (or enteramine), 90% of which resides in the gastrointestinal tract, in the enterochromaffin cell system. Here it plays a direct role in regulating intestinal motility, secretion and perception, as well as an indirect central action helping to prevent stress and improve mood. It is also involved in the production of niacin (vit. PP).
Inulin
Water-soluble prebiotic fibre derived from a fructo-oligosaccharide polymer. Through its osmotic function it regulates water levels in the colon, keeping stools hydrated and soft and stimulating peristalsis.
Microencapsulated lactic ferments (L. acidophilus + B. longum)
They stimulate antibody formation, supporting immune defences, blocking the growth of pathogens and the release of toxins, restoring colon metabolism and regulating intestinal dysbiosis.
Vegetable charcoal
Absorbs excess intestinal gas, reducing bloating, flatulence and a feeling of fullness.
The active fractions menthol and jasmone, contained in mint
They have antispasmodic and anti-gas properties. They modulate diarrhoea/constipation, are involved in bile secretion and regulate gastric juices. They reduce nausea, vomiting and bad breath.
The active fraction glycyrrhizin contained in liquorice
It has an antispasmodic and laxative role, and helps control abdominal pain, bloating and slow digestion. Glycyrrhizin has a structure similar to natural steroids and is involved in regulating adrenaline.
The active fraction chamazulene contained in chamomile
It has antispasmodic and analgesic activity. It helps with dyspeptic pain, flatulence, diarrhoea/constipation, bloating and slow digestion.
The active fractions citral and linalool contained in lemon balm
They have an antispasmodic action and reduce flatulence. They help control anxiety, tension and stress.
Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid)
Regulates the metabolism of the colon mucosa, maintaining electrolyte balance.
Vitamin B6
Regulates the metabolism of the central nervous system and controls the formation of serotonin from tryptophan.
Vitamin PP (niacin)
It is an integral part of the coenzymes NAD and NADP, which control redox reactions. Deficiency causes frequent and debilitating diarrhoea. Endogenous production is supported by L-tryptophan.
Ingredients
Inulin; L-tryptophan; anti-caking agents: microcrystalline cellulose; silicon dioxide; lactobacilli (lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidum); vegetable charcoal; hydrogenated vegetable fat; liquorice juice powder; chamomile flower dry extract; lemon balm leaf dry extract; vitamin B6; vitamin PP; peppermint essential oil; calcium pantothenate; coating agent: hydroxypropyl cellulose.
Directions for use
2 tablets (lunch and dinner) for the first 3-4 days.
Continue with one tablet a day. Swallow the tablets whole, without chewing, with a little water half an hour before meals.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. Contains liquorice - avoid excessive consumption in case of high blood pressure.
Supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women and children should consult their doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
