Gynecolase

INTIMATE CLEANSER

Indications:
deodorising obstetric-gynaecological cleanser, useful for states of hyper-reactivity of the intimate mucous membranes (vulvovaginitis).
For daily intimate hygiene for both men and women.

Directions for use:
use like a normal liquid soap for daily cleansing of the external genitals, or dilute 1-2 tablespoons directly in bidet water for prolonged washing.
Rinse and dry gently.

Characteristics:
with isovaginal pH.
Refreshing and soothing action against local itching from external causes.

Properties:
- Chlorhexidine (1,6-di-4-chlorophenyldiguanidohexane): a compound active against a wide range of pathogenic species, gram-negative and gram-positive, fungi, yeasts and viruses. It binds to the negatively charged groups on the wall of micro-organisms, resulting in membrane damage and loss of cytoplasmic structures. It inhibits enzymatic activity and the number of leucocytes in inflammatory exudate.
- Undecylenic acid (undecylenoyl hydrolysed collagen): obtained by pyrolysis of ricinoleic acid, it is useful in the prevention and treatment of a wide variety of pathogenic fungi, such as Trichophyton, Epidermophyton and Microsporum.
- Echinacin B (echinacea angustifolia): a glycoside composed of rhamnose, glucose and a phenolic aglycone. It helps increase the body's defences against microbial agents that spread through the tissues, partly thanks to the enzyme they produce (anti-hyaluronidase activity).
- Calendula officinalis: glycolic extract rich in carotenes, essential oils and mucilage. Useful for external use thanks to its softening, decongestant and moisturising action on reddened and inflamed skin and mucous membranes. In gynaecology it eases abdominal pain associated with the menstrual cycle.
