Description
Rice syrup is produced by adding purified enzymes to cooked rice. The enzymes break down the starch molecules of the cereal into sweet maltose. Subsequent cooking and filtering produce a thick, sweet syrup. Ideal for sweetening and for spreading on bread and rusks.
