Description
What is Condronil?
For joint problems, and specifically degenerative or mechanical arthropathy, the Condronil Ialdue Intra-Articular syringe by Geopharma is a synovial fluid substitute that helps counter pain and discomfort of the musculoskeletal system, restoring viscosity, elasticity and normal levels of synovial fluid. Based on 1.6% hyaluronic acid, this product is a valuable solution for bone and joint problems. Let's look at it in more detail.
What are its benefits?
Condronil Ial 2 helps joints affected by degenerative or mechanical arthropathy. Thanks to its formula, it:
- counters pain and discomfort of the musculoskeletal system
- restores normal levels of synovial fluid, restoring viscosity and elasticity
- eases pain and improves joint mobility
- acts only in the joint into which it is injected, with no systemic action
- is biodegradable and isotonic
The components of Condronil Ial 2 include:
- hyaluronic acid at 1.6%, a natural polysaccharide found in many human tissues, particularly in synovial fluid; in the joints it acts both as a lubricant for cartilage and ligaments and as a shock absorber
- sodium chloride, the sodium salt of hydrochloric acid
- sodium phosphate, the sodium salt of phosphoric acid. An acidity regulator and chelating agent (used to bind metal ions). It prevents drying out and is used in powders as an acidity stabiliser. Sodium phosphate can also enhance the action of antioxidants
- water for injections, a sterile, pyrogen-free distilled water intended for use in parenteral preparations
Directions for use and administration
The injection must be performed exclusively by a doctor. First remove any joint effusion before injecting Condronil ; the same needle should be used for removing the effusion and for the injection. Remove the protective cap of the syringe, taking particular care to avoid contact with the opening. Screw the needle, with a gauge between 18 and 22 G, firmly onto the Luer lock collar to ensure a tight seal. Before injection, treat the site with a suitable antiseptic solution. Inject the solution using an aseptic technique and only into the joint cavity. The injection site must be on healthy skin. Finally, the product should be administered weekly for a total of 3 weeks or as prescribed by the doctor.
Warnings and contraindications
The contents of the prefilled syringe are sterile and packed in a sealed blister. The outer surface of the syringe, however, is not sterile. Do not use the solution after the expiry date or if the pack or syringe is open or damaged.
Our conclusions
Based on 1.6% hyaluronic acid, the Condronil intra-articular syringe is a valuable solution for bone and joint problems. Thanks to its formula, this synovial fluid substitute helps counter pain and discomfort of the musculoskeletal system, restoring viscosity, elasticity and normal fluid levels. It is a valuable ally against bone and joint problems. Try it and see!
