VAGINAL DOUCHE
Description
Acidic pH vaginal solution formulated for effective cleansing of the vulvovaginal mucosa, useful for countering vaginal dryness. It has a lubricating, moisturising and soothing action that restores comfort even in case of accompanying itching and burning.
By forming a lubricating-protective film thanks to extra virgin olive oil and vitamin E (EvoGold), it protects the vaginal mucosa, helping to maintain its physiological hydration. The tyndallised probiotics (DuoLact) provide a rebalancing action on the vaginal bacterial flora, which may be altered as a result of: incorrect intimate hygiene, inappropriate use of medicines (antibiotics, antifungals, chemotherapy), vaginal inflammation and menopause. These conditions can deplete the physiological vaginal bacterial flora, lowering the natural defences of the mucosa. The properties of lactoferrin allow the formation of a mechanical barrier that prevents bacterial proliferation and helps soothe the uncomfortable symptoms associated with bacterial vaginosis, such as discharge, vaginal itching, burning and unpleasant odour.
Directions for use
One douche a day or as advised by your doctor.
1. Shake before use; the product may show deposits at the bottom due to the natural extracts.
2. Twist the top of the butterfly cap until the tabs break.
3. Press the cannula firmly onto the nozzle released by breaking the tabs.
4. Gently insert the vaginal cannula and squeeze the sides of the bottle, preferably upside down, so that it empties completely.
Ingredients
80 ml of vaginal douche contain:
process water, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, calendula distilled water, aloe vera gel, polysorbate 20, extra virgin olive oil, oily vitamin E acetate, fragrance, Ekoskin (tyndallised Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus acidophilus, FOS beta-fructooligosaccharides and GOS alpha-glucooligosaccharides), Proferrin (lactoferrin), lactic acid.
Warnings
Do not use the product after the expiry date.
Do not use the product if the packaging is not intact.
Keep the product out of the reach of children.
The product must be administered vaginally only.
Do not swallow.
The use of any topical product, especially if prolonged, may cause sensitisation; in this case stop treatment and consult your doctor.
Do not use in case of known sensitivity to the ingredients.
Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep the container tightly closed, away from light and heat.
Do not use after the expiry date shown on the blister and box.
The expiry date refers to the product in unopened, correctly stored packaging.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 36 months.
