Azulene Eye Drops 10 ml

Description
Azulene eye drops lubricate and moisturise the ocular surface, and are particularly suitable when the eye is dry and the ocular surface damaged.
Hyaluronic acid supports the re-epithelialisation of damaged corneal epithelium, while the long chain prevents the formation of pro-inflammatory hyaluronic acid particles and enhances its lubricating action during blinking.
Thanks to its very high capacity to bind water molecules, hyaluronic acid helps replenish and stabilise the tear film.
EDTA acts as a chelating agent and is useful in all corneal conditions caused by foreign bodies, especially alkaline cations. For this reason it is particularly suitable for ocular surface conditions due to air pollution and fine dust.
It also has the ability to reduce tear osmolarity, which in dry eye is already elevated, increasing the bioavailability of water in the tear film.
