Description Food supplement based on wheat germ oil that supports lipid metabolism and has an antioxidant action. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Wheat germ oil is obtained by simple cold pressing after germination of the seed, without the use of solvents, and is a concentrate of the lipid fraction of the germ. The naturally occurring vitamin E also helps preserve the product's organoleptic properties for a long time. The product is preservative-free, GMO-free and non-irradiated.
Properties Wheat germ oil is rich in omega 6 (linoleic acid) and omega 3 (linolenic acid) fatty acids. It also contains triterpene alcohols and sterols and, compared with common seed oils, has the highest content of tocopherols, especially vitamin E. It is very rich in octacosanol, a long-chain saturated aliphatic compound that may be useful in sport for its ergogenic properties. Studies also suggest that it may help reduce blood triglycerides, increase the concentration of free fatty acids and, by stimulating peripheral lipoprotein lipase, increase the uptake of lipids into skeletal muscle.
Wheat germ oil may help support a healthy lipid profile (cholesterol and triglycerides), the maintenance of physiological blood pressure and the body's defences against free radicals.
Vitamin E penetrates through the stratum corneum and the epidermis to the dermis, where it helps support capillary circulation and the use of oxygen and nutrients by the tissues. Thanks to its soothing action, it may also help with various skin discomforts such as itchy skin, mild sunburn and grazes. It also has a nourishing and protective action, useful for dry and sensitive skin prone to couperose and for caring for ageing skin.

How to use Take 2 teaspoons a day, neat or as a raw dressing for salads, cereals, soups and pasta. For cosmetic use, massage in until fully absorbed. For hair: apply as a pack and leave on for 30-60 minutes before shampooing.
