CE 0373 medical device. Hypoallergenic, highly breathable plaster. To be used mainly on wounds that have damaged the dermis and can only heal by secondary intention. It helps keep the wound micro-environment under control and creates a barrier against the outside. Particularly suitable for small wounds, especially on delicate, sensitive and irritated skin.
• Hypoallergenic adhesive, suitable for all skin types, including the delicate skin of children and the elderly. Solvent-free hot-melt adhesive based on thermoplastic rubber. Free from natural rubber latex. The adhesives used (Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive) allow easy removal, as well as excellent adhesion and resistance.
• Non-woven backing in 100% polyester fibre, stretchable in one direction, white. The enlarged central portion allows a larger gauze pad and a strong seal at the outer edges for great wound protection.
• Central pad with rounded corners to improve conformability to the wound. Non-woven gauze pad with a microperforated non-stick film. The gauze contains 0.5% chlorhexidine digluconate with antibacterial activity.
