Dermatix
Description
Transparent silicone gel that, when treating scars caused by surgery, burns and other injuries, dries quickly and helps hydrate the skin. Dermatix flattens, softens and smooths scars, relieves the pain, itching and discomfort associated with them, and reduces the redness associated with scar tissue. Dermatix gel is easy to apply to all skin surfaces, including the face, joints and body parts subject to movement, and dries quickly, forming a transparent "film". Dermatix was developed using the same long-chain base polymers used in silicone gel sheets and is available in a tube. The gel contains polysiloxane.
Dermatix is used for the treatment and prevention of keloids and hypertrophic scars (for example those resulting from general surgical procedures, traumatic wounds and burns) after the wound has completely healed and the skin surface is intact. It is also used for immature, red, raised scars in the active healing phase, often up to two years after wound closure.
How to use
Remove the cap from the tube and cut off the tip. Wash the affected area and pat dry, as Dermatix must only be applied to clean, dry skin. Spread a small amount of gel onto the scar, massaging gently. If too much product is applied, gently remove the excess with a cloth to avoid staining clothes. Once Dermatix gel has dried, make-up and cosmetics can be applied.
Apply twice a day, morning and evening, for at least two months. For difficult scars, it may be necessary to continue the treatment. Dermatix can also be used on children.
Ingredients
Polysiloxane.

Rarely, the gel may cause redness, pain or skin irritation. In case of reactions, stop using the product. If you have any doubts about these or other side effects, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Keep out of the reach of children.
