UrgoTul TLC Matrix Flexible Interface Dressing 15 x 20 cm 3 Pieces

UrgoTul is a sterile single-use medical device developed by Laboratoires URGO: a flexible interface dressing made of a polyester textile mesh coated on both sides with TLC matrix (Lipido-Colloid Technology), composed of liquid paraffin, sodium carboxymethylcellulose and polymers. Each dressing is protected by a film and packed in a wrapper that guarantees its sterility.

Intended use

UrgoTul is indicated for the management of acute and chronic skin wounds, including exuding, cavity or deep wounds and areas that are difficult to dress, such as toes, fingers or bony prominences. It can also be used in diabetic patients and under compression bandaging. It must always be covered with an absorbent secondary dressing, chosen according to the level of exudate.

Directions for use

Wash your hands with soap and water and dry them with a clean cloth, or use a hydroalcoholic gel. Prepare the wound according to local practice, remove the dressing from the pouch and apply it to the wound, choosing the appropriate size; if necessary, cut it with sterile scissors. For deep wounds, fill the cavity with strips or rectangles, without compressing. Then cover with a suitable secondary dressing. Changing is recommended every 1-3 days, depending on the level of exudate and the condition of the wound.

Warnings

Do not use on dry necrotic wounds, in case of known sensitivity to any of the components, if the packaging is damaged or after the expiry date. Do not reuse (risk of infection) and do not resterilise. In case of redness or irritation, stop using; in rare cases allergic reactions, skin maceration or local irritation may occur. Use should be supervised by healthcare professionals. Pack of 3 pieces of 15x20 cm; store in a cool, dry place, away from light. Dispose of according to local regulations after use.
