Description

Folabì is a food for special medical purposes formulated for the dietary management of hyperhomocysteinaemia associated with reduced activity of the enzyme methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase, related to the C677T and A1298C genetic polymorphisms. To be used under medical supervision.

Each tablet provides 5 mg of calcium L-5-methylfolate, the biologically active form of folate, and 1,000 mcg of vitamin B12 as hydroxocobalamin acetate. The composition is completed by bulking agents such as cellulose and calcium phosphate, hydroxypropylcellulose as a stabiliser and anti-caking agents. The product is gluten-free and naturally lactose-free.

Directions for use: 1 tablet a day or every other day, as directed by a doctor. The product is intended for adults and cannot be the sole source of nutrition. Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age and store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources. Pack of 30 tablets, net weight 10.5 g.
