Particularly suitable for inflammatory and hyperinflammatory conditions in critically ill patients who require mechanical ventilation and/or are affected by sepsis, SIRS (Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) or ALI (Acute Lung Injury)/ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome).

Features
Balanced, high-calorie (1.5 kcal/ml), low-carbohydrate enteral nutrition product with a high percentage of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and antioxidants.
The fatty acids EPA and GLA have anti-inflammatory properties and positively influence the inflammatory response.
Antioxidants neutralise free radicals and protect against oxidative processes.
Low percentage of carbohydrates, which minimises CO2 production.
