CE 0373 medical device. Hypoallergenic, highly breathable plaster. To be used mainly on wounds that have damaged the dermis and can only heal by secondary intention. It helps keep the wound micro-environment under control and creates a barrier against the outside. Ideally suited to minor wounds, particularly on delicate, sensitive and irritated skin.
• Hypoallergenic adhesive, suitable for all skin types, including the delicate skin of children and the elderly. Solvent-free hot-melt adhesive based on thermoplastic rubber. Free from natural rubber latex. The adhesives used (Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive) allow easy removal, as well as optimal adhesion and resistance.
• Backing in white, one-way stretch non-woven fabric made of 100% polyester fibres. The enlarged central portion allows the use of a larger gauze pad and strong sealing at the outer edges for excellent wound protection.
• Central pad with rounded corners for better conformability to the wound. Non-woven gauze pad with microperforated non-stick film. The gauze contains 0.5% chlorhexidine digluconate with antibacterial activity.
