ANAL DILATOR

Indications:
contains a heat-retaining gel able to provide the benefits of heat therapy or cold therapy in various anal conditions:
scar-related or idiopathic stenosis (narrowing) of the anal opening;
sphincter hypertonia or spasm caused by haemorrhoids, essential proctalgia or fissure, with possible secondary constipation;
prevention of post-operative stenosis after surgery for haemorrhoids and fistula.

Directions for use:
for cold therapy, cool the dilator in the fridge or immerse it in iced water for 10/15 minutes. For heat therapy, warm the dilator in hot water (no hotter than 50°) for about 10/15 minutes.
Then coat the dilator with a lubricating cream or ointment. Insert the dilator slowly into the anal opening up to its base while sitting on the bidet or lying on your side, either before or after a bowel movement. In case of sphincter spasm, it is advisable to have a lukewarm-to-warm bidet wash before dilation, as this relaxes the anal sphincter muscles. Keep the dilator in place for about one to three minutes, then remove it slowly. Do not stand up or walk with the dilator inserted.
