NEBULISER SOLUTION
sterile solution for nebulisation based on hyaluronic acid, which exerts a protective and barrier effect on the nasal, oral and pharyngeal mucosa prone to redness and infections. Hyaluronic acid adheres to the surface of the mucosa and, by retaining the water physiologically present, forms a protective film that soothes the irritated mucosa. Its lubricating and emollient action helps relieve all the symptoms linked to inflammation, such as difficulty swallowing and a sensation of a foreign body, tickling or dryness in the throat. Finally, the barrier effect helps preserve the integrity of the mucosa, protecting it from harmful external agents and pathogens.
How to use
Adults and children over 6 years of age: one single-dose container per session, twice a day. Children aged 2-6 years: half the content of a single-dose container per session, twice a day. The container bears a mark corresponding to half a dose. Do not exceed the recommended doses. Administer the solution using aerosol therapy devices (piston type only, not ultrasonic). Wash your hands before and after using the medical device.
To use, proceed as follows:
• 1 Bend the single-dose container in both directions and detach it from the strip.
• 2 Shake the single-dose container gently before use.
• 3 Open the single-dose container by twisting.
• 4 Applying moderate pressure to the walls of the single-dose container, squeeze out the indicated quantity of solution into the nebuliser chamber.
• 5 When using half a dose, the container can be closed again by turning the cap upside down and pressing it. The reclosed single-dose container must be stored between 2°C and 8°C (in the refrigerator) and the remaining quantity must be used within 24 hours of first opening.
It can be used at any time of day without particular time restrictions. The duration of use depends on how the symptoms evolve; if needed to improve symptoms, the product can be used for prolonged periods.
Ingredients
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt, chamomile extract, EDTA, N-acetylcysteine, sodium domo, sodium hydroxide, sodium phosphate monobasic dihydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic heptahydrate, water.
Warnings
Product contraindicated in children under two years of age. Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. The safety of use of the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been demonstrated. In such circumstances, consult your doctor. The use of any topical product, especially if prolonged, may give rise to sensitisation. In that case stop treatment and consult your doctor for appropriate therapy. If you notice any undesirable effects, whether or not described in the leaflet, inform your doctor or pharmacist. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Avoid contact with the eyes. Any sulphurous odour does not indicate a change in the preparation but is characteristic of one of the components of the formulation. Do not use after the expiry date or if the packaging is open or damaged.
Storage
The expiry date is shown on the box, on the aluminium pouch and on the individual single-dose containers; it refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored. The single-dose containers must be kept inside the protective pouch, away from light and heat. When using half a dose, the reclosed single-dose container must be stored between 2°C and 8°C (in the refrigerator) and used within 24 hours of opening. Medical devices must not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medical devices no longer in use.
