Folisid forte

Food supplement based on microencapsulated iron pyrophosphate with folic acid, vitamin C and copper, useful in cases of reduced intake and/or increased requirement of these nutrients. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin; folate contributes to normal blood formation and to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. Copper contributes to normal iron transport in the body, and finally vitamin C increases iron absorption.
It is produced through a unique and revolutionary "superdispersion" technological process, which creates a new form of iron salt that remains stable to heat and oxidation, masks the unpleasant taste and smell of iron and does not irritate the stomach.
Free from the unpleasant characteristic taste and smell of iron, it is highly absorbable (after supplementation it maintains high serum iron levels even 8 hours after intake), and it is gentle on the gastrointestinal tract because it does not cause irritation or a feeling of heaviness and leaves no unpleasant aftertaste, as it passes through to the small intestine where it is absorbed slowly.

Directions for use
Take one tablet per day, swallowed with plenty of water, preferably on an empty stomach or as advised by your doctor.

Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25-30°C, away from light and/or heat sources. The best-before date refers to the product correctly stored in intact packaging.
