Ityolate Ointment 50 ml

Description
Medical device which, thanks to its particular structure, promotes the formation of a protective film on irritated and reddened skin associated with boils, allowing the actives to act locally. Ichthammol and zinc oxide, in synergy with rice starch, hinder microbial growth, providing an astringent and soothing effect on irritated skin and reducing affected spots.

How to use
Apply an even layer of ointment to the affected areas 2-3 times a day. On medical advice, the product can also be used with an occlusive dressing (cling film, waterproof plaster, etc.).

Ingredients
Aqua, Oryza sativa starch, laureth-7, C13-14 isoparaffin, glycerin, cyclopentasiloxane, ichthammol, zinc oxide, salicylic acid, Citrus limon peel oil, Eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, imidazolidinyl urea, Malva sylvestris leaf extract, undecylenic acid, caprylic/capric triglyceride, tetrasodium EDTA, xanthan gum, chlorhexidine digluconate, BHA, BHT, chitosan, tocopheryl acetate, D-limonene, citral, polyacrylamide.

Warnings
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with cold water. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of Ityolate. Do not apply to broken or damaged skin. Do not use in people with other skin conditions. Consult a doctor if using at the same time as other products. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
ITYOLATE Ointment is usually well tolerated. A slight burning sensation and redness may be felt after application. Use, especially if prolonged, may cause sensitisation; in that case stop treatment. Report any undesirable effects to your doctor or pharmacist. Avoid wearing contact lenses while handling the product. The product may stain skin and clothing. Close the tube carefully after each use. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged. It is advisable to use the product within 3 months of opening.

Storage
Store at a temperature between 5 and 30 °C.
Shelf life unopened: 30 months.
Shelf life after opening: 3 months.
