Dicogel Gastro Paediatric Anti-Reflux Syrup 200 ml

Description
Medical device for oral use indicated for the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux in infants and children.
Thanks to its polysaccharide components, Dicogel gastro forms a viscous mass in the stomach with a barrier effect that prevents gastric juices from rising into the oesophagus, preserving the integrity of the oesophageal mucosa and preventing reflux symptoms (vomiting, regurgitation, heartburn or burning sensation, acidity, cough, etc.).

Directions for use
Shake the bottle well before use.
Administer according to the doses below or as advised by your doctor.
Infants up to 5 kg: 1 ml of product, 5-10 minutes after feeding (up to 10 ml per day).
Children up to 3 years of age, over 5 kg: 4 ml after main meals and 2 ml before night-time sleep.
Children aged 3 years and over: 10-20 ml divided over the day, after main meals and before night-time sleep.
In case of regurgitation after administration, give an additional dose.
To administer, unscrew the cap by pushing it down and turning it anticlockwise; insert the syringe into the hole of the inner cap; turn the bottle upside down, holding the syringe firmly; gently pull the plunger, letting the syrup flow into the syringe up to the mark corresponding to the desired dose; return the bottle to the upright position and remove the syringe by gently twisting it; place the tip of the syringe in the mouth and press the plunger lightly to release the syrup. After use, wash the syringe with hot water. Once dry, put the syringe back in its packaging pouch.

Ingredients
Water, magnesium alginate, sodium hyaluronate, natural strawberry flavouring, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, steviol glycosides.

Gluten-free.

Warnings
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product or in case of intestinal obstruction. Concomitant use of thickening agents (rice starch, corn starch, carob, etc.) is contraindicated.
Do not exceed the recommended doses.
Close the bottle tightly after use.
Use the product within 20 days of opening the bottle.
If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with the eyes after use. Do not inhale.
Consult your doctor before using the product. In case of adverse reactions, stop treatment and consult your doctor.
Do not use if the pack is not intact. Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the pack.
Keep out of the reach of children.
The product may be more or less viscous and/or show slight variations in colour and taste, which do not indicate any change in product quality.

Storage
Store in the original packaging at room temperature below 25 °C and above 10 °C, in a dry place away from light.
The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in unopened packaging.
