Hyaluronic acid sodium salt: 0.15 g
Ginkgo biloba dry extract: 0.05 g
Buffered isotonic solution at pH 7.2: q.s. to 100 ml

Description
The product consists of a sterile, preservative-free ophthalmic solution containing hyaluronic acid and Ginkgo biloba extract, intended to protect corneal cells, lubricate the ocular surface, and stabilise and replenish the tear film.
Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide found in numerous body tissues.
It adheres to the ocular surface, protecting, moisturising and lubricating it.
Thanks to its mucoadhesive properties, it remains on the surface of the eye for a long time and stabilises the tear film, bringing relief in all dry eye conditions.
Ginkgo biloba extract, commonly used in many fields of medicine, has components with antioxidant and protective activity on the ocular surface.
These substances, and the flavonoids, are able to neutralise free radicals which would otherwise be harmful to corneal and conjunctival cells.

Indications
Stabilising and replenishing tear substitute in case of alterations in the histological continuity of the corneal surface; the product is useful after excimer laser treatment and in quantitative and qualitative alterations of the tear film.

Directions for use
Instil 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day, or as needed.

Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or to other chemically related substances.

Precautions and warnings
• Close the bottle tightly after use.
• To eliminate the risk of contaminating the solution, avoid letting the dropper touch the eye or other objects.
• Do not use in case of eye infections.
• If ophthalmic solutions are being used for therapeutic purposes, consult your doctor.
• Do not use the product if the bottle is damaged.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the bottle.
• Do not store above 25°C.
• The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
• Keep out of the reach of children.

Side effects
No undesirable effects have been reported after use of the product.
In case of adverse reactions, stop using the product and consult your doctor.
Slight blurring of vision may occur after application of the product.
