Coloplast SenSura Mio Convex Flip is a one-piece bag indicated for collecting output in people with a colostomy.
The bag is closed-ended.
It is available in two types: transparent or with an inspection window.
The inspection-window version is made of innovative Ökotex fabric.
The inspection feature consists of an opening below which there is a transparent film allowing the stoma to be viewed. The back is made of fabric.
The colour of the bag is innovative and discreet, specially designed not to be visible under clothing.
The transparent bags allow complete visibility of the contents at the front, while at the back they are covered with fabric for greater comfort against the skin.
The adhesive, designed with BodyFit Technology, is elastic, newly conceived and made of two layers; it has a five-petal star shape and its elastic structure ensures adhesion, security and skin protection:
- in the innermost layer, the special mesh structure incorporates small hydrocolloids: in contact with output it turns into a cohesive, compact gel with high erosion resistance. This creates a protective seal that reduces the occurrence of leaks while maintaining the correct skin moisture gradient, which supports tissue repair;
- in the part closest to the stoma, the adhesive has a ring that gives stability and support to the stoma;
-in the outermost layer, the elasticity of the adhesive allows this layer to adapt perfectly to skin irregularities, offering high instant adhesion and consequent security in use;
- the adhesive has a simple cutting guide: the cutting circles are soft, there are various cutting sizes with strong contrasts for users with poor eyesight, and the circles do not intersect.
The product has an adhesive removal tab coloured turquoise to make it more visible, with an easy-grip thumb-shaped handle.
The bag has a new circular filter system.
The filter consists of a very large, circular pre-filter area that allows it to block any type of output before it comes into contact with the filter membranes. This prevents clogging. The filter is made of activated charcoal positioned inside the bag itself at the front, under the inspection pocket, and ensures odour control.
Warnings This is a medical device under Directive 93/42/EEC - class I - non-sterile.

Shelf life 3 years from date of manufacture.
The product does not contain ecotoxic components and therefore does not require special disposal protocols.
Do not dispose of in the environment as it is not biodegradable.
Storage We recommend storage in the original intact pack away from light and moisture, at a constant temperature between 15° and 30°.
