Description
Euphralia HYGIENE BABY eye drops are a sterile saline solution at physiological pH for ocular and periocular use.
Euphralia HYGIENE BABY eye drops are a valuable aid for removing periocular and ocular secretions in newborns from the first days of life, infants and children (from 0 to 6 years of age). The product can also be used by children over 6, adolescents, adults and older people (over 65).
Instilling Euphralia HYGIENE BABY eye drops softens and washes away secretions on the surface of the eye, in the conjunctival fornices and on the eyelid margin.
Euphralia HYGIENE BABY eye drops have a diluting, decongesting and hydrating action by increasing tear volume.
Euphralia HYGIENE BABY eye drops contain distilled waters of eyebright and echinacea, which contribute to the moistening effect thanks to their hydrating action.
Euphralia HYGIENE BABY eye drops are compatible with soft contact lenses.
Euphralia HYGIENE BABY eye drops are indicated:
- for the daily cleansing of the eyelids and eyes of newborns, infants and children, and for cleansing the eyes also in cases of neonatal conjunctivitis;
- to help remove eye secretions or dirt residues due to increased mucus viscosity or environmental factors such as dust, pollen, allergens and salt air;
- to make it easier to remove ocular and periocular secretions in case of eye inflammation and blepharitis;
- to remove purulent secretions and dilute the tear film in case of tear duct stenosis (common in newborns);
- in case of amblyopia, to control the microbial load of the patched eye by diluting micro-organisms through increased tear volume. During treatment, the product is instilled between one patching and the next, and for moistening if a contact lens is worn.
Euphralia HYGIENE BABY eye drops are also indicated to:
- relieve eye discomfort and redness of the ocular mucosa caused by weather factors such as wind, excessive heat or excessive exposure to sunlight;
- relieve discomfort caused by seasonal allergies and various forms of allergic conjunctivitis;
- reduce burning, discomfort or itching of the eyes due to dry eye caused by environmental factors;
- reduce the feeling of dry eye/foreign body following drug therapy.
Euphralia HYGIENE BABY eye drops can be used several times a day.
Ingredients
Echinacea pallida distilled water, Euphrasia officinalis distilled water, zinc sulphate heptahydrate, vitamin E TPGS, sodium chloride, citric acid monohydrate, trisodium citrate dihydrate, water for injection.
Preservative-free.
Storage
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, at a temperature between 2°C and 30°C.
Keep unused single-dose containers in the aluminium pouch.
With the pack intact, do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack and on the single-dose containers.
