CE 0373 medical device. Hypoallergenic, highly breathable plaster. To be used mainly on wounds that have damaged the dermis and can only heal by secondary intention. It keeps the microenvironment of the wound under control and creates a barrier against the outside. Ideally suited to minor wounds, especially on delicate, sensitive and irritated skin.
• Hypoallergenic adhesive, suitable for all skin types, including the delicate skin of children and the elderly. Solvent-free hot-melt adhesive based on thermoplastic rubber. Free from natural rubber latex. The adhesives used (Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive) allow easy removal, as well as optimal adhesion and resistance.
• Backing in white, one-way stretch non-woven fabric made of 100% polyester fibres. The enlarged central section allows the use of a larger gauze and a high seal along the outer edges for great wound protection.
• Central pad with rounded corners to improve conformability to the wound. Non-woven gauze pad with microperforated non-stick film. The gauze contains 0.5% chlorhexidine digluconate with antibacterial activity.
