Eye drops with a repairing and protective action
Sterile solution for ophthalmic use with a physiological pH, containing sodium hyaluronate and distilled waters of ginkgo biloba, bilberry, fennel and centella asiatica.
Sodium hyaluronate gives the medical device mucomimetic and visco-elastic properties so as to ensure adequate lubrication of the ocular surface, protecting it from the friction generated by eye movements.
In addition, the polymer is able to retain water: for this reason the solution keeps the ocular surface moist and increases the stability of the tear film, protecting the ocular mucosa from external agents.
Ginkgo biloba improves visibility at long distances and relieves tiredness and redness of the eyes and ocular mucous membranes. This plant, together with centella asiatica, is used because it is particularly helpful in supporting the reduction of irritation.
In the formulation, bilberry is used for its refreshing properties: it gives relief to tired eyes and acts as protection for the ocular mucosa against weather and environmental factors.
Fennel is used in eye disorders to soothe the burning sensation and, together with bilberry, is used for its repairing action.
These plants, used in the form of distilled waters, have a soothing, refreshing and protective action within the formulation. The solution contains boric acid and sodium tetraborate decahydrate as a buffer system, and sodium chloride to ensure a physiological solution.
Hyalistil PLUS therefore has a moisturising and lubricating action on the ocular surface and provides temporary relief from burning, irritation and discomfort related to dry eye. It can also be used as protection against irritation due to other factors.
It can be used with contact lenses, without needing to remove them.
Preservative-free.
Directions for use
- Before the first use, remove the tamper-evident seal and the protective cap.
- Instil 1 - 2 drops into each eye by gently pressing the container.
- Due to the intrinsic characteristics of the dispenser bottle for preservative-free solutions, as the bottle gradually empties it may be necessary to apply greater pressure to dispense the product.
- After use, close the bottle immediately: the contents can be reused within 6 months of first opening.
- Also suitable for frequent use, several times a day, as needed or as advised by your doctor.

Warnings
- The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
- The product is for single-patient use.
- Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or not perfectly sealed when first opened.
- During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the bottle.
- Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation.
- In case of unwanted effects, stop treatment and consult a doctor.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the pack.
- The expiry date refers to the product in its intact pack, correctly stored.
- Keep out of the reach of children.

Store below 30°C.
Shelf life in unopened pack: 36 months.
Shelf life after first opening: 6 months.
