Renilon 4.0 Apricot is a food for special medical purposes in a ready-to-drink liquid format, indicated for the dietary management of renal insufficiency in people who need a reduced protein intake. It is an oral nutritional supplement characterised by a high calorie content combined with a moderate content of protein and electrolytes, so as to contribute to nutritional requirements without overloading the diet.

Nutritional values

Per 100 ml: energy 838 kJ/200 kcal, fat 10.0 g (of which saturates 0.93 g), carbohydrate 23.6 g (of which sugars 5.0 g, lactose <0.11 g), fibre 0 g, protein 4.0 g, salt 0.09 g. The formulation also provides vitamins, minerals and trace elements, carotenoids, L-carnitine, choline and taurine. Osmolarity 455 mOsm/l. Gluten-free.

Composition

Water, maltodextrin, vegetable oils (high oleic sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower seed oil), beta-lactoglobulin from cow's milk, fructose, choline citrate, flavouring, colours (carmine, curcumin), carotenoids (contains soya), potassium citrate, ferrous lactate, taurine, L-carnitine and a blend of vitamins and minerals.

How to use

Shake well before use. The product is ready to drink and is more pleasant when consumed chilled. For adults: 1-3 bottles a day to supplement the diet, unless otherwise advised by a doctor. In children over 3 years of age the dosage must be determined by a doctor according to specific needs. Not for parenteral use. Use only under medical supervision. Pack of 4 bottles of 125 ml.
