Description
Protein-free bread with extra virgin olive oil. Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of: chronic kidney failure (nephropathies), congenital metabolic disorders (phenylketonuria/PKU), or other diseases requiring a low-protein diet; protein residue below 1%, low in phosphorus, potassium and phenylalanine. In chronic kidney failure it is advisable to follow a diet with reduced intake of protein, potassium and phosphorus; the level of phenylalanine in this product makes it suitable for a diet with a low, controlled intake of this amino acid.

Ingredients
Water, maize starch, rice starch, extra virgin olive oil 5%; thickeners: guar flour, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; dextrose, psyllium fibre, inulin, yeast, dried sourdough (rice flour), iodised salt; antioxidant: rosemary extract; buckwheat bran, flavourings.

May contain traces of: mustard, sesame seeds, lupin.
